Many of my friends on the social media are Christians. I would just like to affirm the faith we share and for those who are not, I hope this might bring some inspiration.
The God we serve is real. He is as real as you and I except that He is a Spirit and I use 'He' only for convenience since God is sexless, meaning neither male nor female. I have a Close relationship with Him. I speak to Him as I speak to my friends. He listens even when I don't think He is listening. He acts, sometimes slowly but always acts. If he does not act, it means that He is not in agreement with the request(s) being made.
In the church, there are many persons who have various positions and attend services very regular but have no personal relationship with God. They pray to Him but do not know Him. Now this is terrible because He should be the reason why we attend church in the first place. We should not join a church because we want to be a part of a group or a member of a group or because it is politically correct to do so. We must put God first in all things.
I can testify to the wonderful things that I have experienced, through Christ, since becoming a Christian. It is truly awesome and I am not for one minute saying that it was an easy road!
